This is a very solid piece of equipment. It held a Rola Bag on it with no problem and no vibration or jostling noise at all. I had a local trailer hitch installer put the lights on it for minimal cost and it worked like a charm. The whole trip -- looking forward to using it again.

I reviewed a great many racks for our R/V to carry a generator, this item is built like a tank. I improvised the lights for it by using a set of magnetic ones but had to bolo tie these on but it worked well. Well worth the money for this item. Kind of heavy for one person to manuver but the value is there. Quick ship besides. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. Don't settle for one that is 20x48, you'll regret it. Better yet, measure what you'll be using it for and act accordingly.

This fit our 2005 Highlander just great. The weight limit is a little light, but I think that's because of our hitch and vehicle setup, not because of the carrier itself. Be sure to check all of that information before picking this up. We intend to use this primarily for hunting and it was a great buy in that respect. It hauled the deer home just fine. There is some concern about the proximity to the exhaust, so my husband manufactured a heat sheild. This is only a suggestion if you're hauling something that could be damaged by the heat of the exhaust. In our case, deer meat for more than two hours. The heat sheild helped. Overall, a great buy.
